This 1941 film stars Roy Rogers. Set in the state of Texas after the American Civil War, a character called Ballard has declared martial law, with the hope it will drive out the ranchers. Another character called Col.Davis, gets rid of Ballard and Roy Rogers is elected as Sheriff, but Roys man Gabby is accused of a shooting, and Ballard sentences Gabby to be executed, and Roy has to prove Gabbys innocence before its to late.
